Starting blog so family and friends can keep in touch

Hi Everyone,

I am so new to this, but I thought it would be a great wat for everyone to keep up with us.

In December 3 days before Christmas Ken was laid off from work, the economy. Wow what are we going to do? We knew in this economy it was going to be tough to find a good job, and the past year was hard on us. We seemed to just be making it each month. I prayed like I usually do and felt at peace with everthing that was going on.

Ken told me that he had talked to his mom and that she had offered if we needed to move in with her until things changed. WOW I thought, Ken's mom and I had not spoken for almost 2 years, how was this going to work. Well it did, we lived with her and her husband for 2 months before Ken was offered a job in Warner Robins, Georgia. We were going to finish the school year and than move up to be with Ken but the kids missed there Daddy terribly. The kids and I moved up the end of February.

The job is great and so is Warner Robins, we love it. The kids have adjusted to there new school well. Kenny is reading like you would not believe. Marykate is almost done with the Haryy Potter series, she can't seem to put them down.

Ken is doing very well, he seems to be very happy at work. I love Georgia so it has been a great move for me. I applied to nursing school this week, so hopefully I will be accepted and start in the fall.

Check back daily, I will try to post as much as I can. Keep an eye out for pictures I will try to upload and post soon.
